We numb how we feel and seek out more creative ways to deal with it when our minds fail us because typically we do not dedicate as much energy to meditation and self understanding as we do to the physical aspects people can see, So we drug up, drink up, have sex with strangers, seek vaildation from people we have no real connection with on social media, we embrace consumerism and buy more and more stuff to fill a void only honesty can fill.
